Gut Ding braucht Weile: Best Of meiner Bilder

Nun ist es endlich fertig… Im Prinzip habe ich die Auswahl meiner schönsten Bilder schon vor einigen Monaten getroffen, letzte Woche Samstag habe ich dann die Website-Vorlage (die ich übrigens auch für weitere Bildpräsentationen benutzen möchte) fertig gemacht und bis jetzt ist alles eingebunden.

Nun zu den Bildern. Manche sind “echte” Fotografien, andere haben nur dokumentarischen Wert. Aber in allen Fällen sind sie gute Erinnerungen an schöne Ausflüge. Aber seht selbst!

Nana, so gehört sich das aber nicht… fast ein Jahr habe ich nun nichts mehr geschrieben. Aber bald geht es weiter, versprochen! Vielleicht sogar unter neuer Adresse, wer weiß…

Ach ja, es dürfe aufgefallen sein, dass die Bilder in den älteren Beiträgen fehlen. Das liegt daran, dass ich meinen Webspace umstrukturiert habe, dadurch ging einiges verloren. Tut mir leid!

Die gute alte Baureihe 614…

Guten Morgen!

Heute habe ich gleich zwei Bilder für euch (man merkt, ich hab meine Spendierhosen an ). Und auf beiden kann man die Baureihe 614 sehen. Einmal vor gut einem Jahr und einmal vor gut 3 Wochen. Eigentlich sollte diese wunderschöne Baureihe ja Mitte Juni komplett aus dem Braunschweiger Bestand verschwinden, doch aufgrund von Fahrzeugmangel „muss“  sie noch bis Dezember eingesetzt werden. Glücklicherweise sag ich nur! Diese Baureihe ist eine der bequemsten, die es meiner Meinung nach im Nahverkehr gibt und gegeben hat. Aber seht selbst:

Hier ist zu sehen VT 614 063 mit Farbklecksen auf der Nase. Ob er die heute immer noch hat?

Und hier ein Bild mit Nebenbahnflair. Leider ist die Belichtung nicht perfekt und die Farben etwas surreal. Aber was soll’s. Nächstes mal wirds besser

Spiegelungen

Liebe Gemeinde,

hier ein Bildbeitrag aus dem Braunschweiger Hauptbahnhof: Eine 642 wartet auf die Abfahrt in Richtung Wolfsburg. Dadurch, dass die Oberfläche gewölbt ist, ergeben sich sehr gute Spiegelungen. Aber seht selbst

Das Bild ist vor einigen Wochen entstanden, gefällt mir aber ganz gut.

OLMUN 2008 – A Time for Renewal

First of all I gotta apologize for writing this blog entry in english language, but as it is about the OLMUN 2008 session, which is international and therefore english-speaking, I felt free to write in this language.

This year’s OLMUN (short form for Oldenburg Model United Nations – wanna know more about? www.olmun.org) Session was totally great for the Delegate of Israel, which was me . You may now ask yourself, why it was so great. Well, my opinion is to get the answer you really have to participate. But as this is a blog (or somethin’ like that) I think I gotta inform you about…

As I already said before, I presented the State of Israel in the „United Nations Environment Governing Council“. This years’ topic of this council was „Preventing further Overfishing“.

Now you already got some general information… Let’s go into particular
The first part of the first day was quite BOOORING as the guest speaker Mr (I forgot his name) from Bremen informed us about overfishing, technologies and stuff like that for about 3 (!) hours – It seemed like it was 6 hours…
After this talk it was time to begin with the lobbying process. This was the kinda more funny part of the day. You either had to find other nations supporting your resolution in order to be main submitter or you had to look for other nations having a resolution you wanna support. Me representing the State of Israel became co-submitter of the resolution submitted by the United States of America and the Russian Federation.

Anyways, this resolution unfortunately failed after just one hour (note: the one from Kenya was discussed for 6 long hours and did afterwards pass with 32 votes in favour and 8 votes against – including the vote of the Israeli Delegation ) The debate or discussion was in my eyes the funniest part of the whole session because you could change and therefore manipulate the resolutions of other nations in principal . But oh well, I was actually very nice and friendly to the other ones.

But you have to say that all this mentioned above was absolutely nothing compared to the closing ceremony where I laughed a lot about the presentations of each committee. I already said that you must have been present to really know why it is funny… So I will not go into further detail now and will finish writing this blog.
